Very confusing email from Universal

Sounds like it's possible they sent the e-mail to the wrong group of people.

Unless I missed it, it seems everyone who won a free ticket didn't get the survey, but people who "lost" did.

I got an email saying I won a ticket, and got the survey email. Or the people that got it didn't get the email saying it one due to spam filters which is more probable, I almost spammed the email when I fist saw it.

Yea. I was wondering if maybe my spam blocker wouldn't let it through. :confused3 I don't know, but like I said befpre IF I won, I'll be very happy, if I didn't then I'll still be happy 'cause I'm going to Universal either way!!!! :cool1:

You won the free ticket and just didn't get the first confirmation email. Same thing happened to me and they emailed me teeling me I won as well. They are mailing info out starting march first i was told...:cool1:

I won however, didn't realize the ticket has a use by date so, we will not be using it.

Has anyone heard of any upgrade options for the winning tic, maybe I can pay a little to change the date?

I won a free ticket (and rec'd original email), I signed up only once, I live in Oregon, and I got the survey. I filled it out, hoping to score some more tickets for my family.

I just received the survey email so I took the survey and the only question it asked me was... Did you win a superbowl ticket? Check yes or no. Then I clicked on submit and it said thank you for taking our survey. Did anyone else have that happen?

Never got one of those but did get email saying I won .

I won a ticket and got the survey email....BUT, I found a lot of the survey very strange. There were a few misspelled words in it...even the subject title was spelled wrong...and that weird mention of having 30 tickets to sell on Ebay....and how much did you really trust them when they said they wouldn't use your info for other purposes??

Weird....at least I thought so anyway. :confused3

I too won a ticket (and am waiting patiently for the info from US to come!!) and I got the survey today. I did take the survey, but who knows if anything will come of it. I would like to win four additional tickets for my March vacation!!

Perhaps there was more than one survey that was just sent out?

I won a Super Bowl ticket. I have not received the confirmation code yet, just the email telling me I won.

I receive surveys all the time from Universal. This one was about advertising.

My email specifically said:

We're in the process of reviewing some of the messages and content used in our advertising, and we'd like your feedback. We would like you to represent a small segment of our guests on a limited distribution survey we're conducting. The results of the survey will be used to help us create an engaging message to go along with one of our great programs we will offer in the near future.

In exchange for your participation, you will automatically be entered into an exclusive drawing to win Four 1-day, 2-park Tickets to the park. There is absolutely no cost to participate and your responses will be completely anonymous.

There seems to be a lot of hang-up on the word "additional." Mine doesn't say that, so I am wondering if there was a different survey?

BTW, at the end of every survey is a free form you can fill out ... I always use mine to gripe about the time share sharks in the park. :)

I got an email a few days after the SB saying that I had won a ticket...and I also got the survey. Several times throughout the survey they mentioned that it was okay if you signed up for friends and family members (I didn't). I didn't think it was a strange survey - they seem to want to know what people think about their marketing. I had trouble answering a few of the questions because I knew the answers, but not because of their commercials or advertising but because of the DIS (which sadly was not one of the answers).

The email telling me I had won a ticket was very vague about how you actually get the ticket - hope to hear something more specific soon :)
