Very confused--when can I book AKV?

I never got any notification, but I heard chatter that non-owners could start booking AKV on June 27. I logged into dvcmember dot com, and found the following message:

Starting June 6, 2007, other Disney Vacation Club Members can book for stays beginning July 2, 2007. Space is limited for the initial dates, but more rooms will be available as these distinctive Resort accommodations are introduced.

What??? I could have booked all these weeks???

Yes, you could have booked already. The June 27th date is for non-AKV owners who want to book value or concierge categories.

Ahh...that explains it! I do hope to get concierge lmao: ), so I'll call tomorrow as I planned.

So, I guess it will be busy tomorrow-my bad luck that my 7 month window is tomorrow for my Jan '08 stay--yikes! Well, maybe some people looking for concierge will be giving up SV 2 bedrooms!! But good luck!! Deb
