We have used DU for about 3 or 4 times now and have always been satisfied. However, this time has been different. Until now they have just been minor inconveniences like not getting some of the PS that we wanted. We assumed that our TA is just unusually busy this time around. However, we just recently after we made a payment on our registration we did not receive any confirmation. Okay, we checked and it was ok, so we thought no problem. Well, we did it again, and this time it wouldn't go through so my husband sent in an email to our TA telling her that was not our email address and never has been. Well, it turns out that someone else got our email! Well, this really freaked me out because I'm thinking, now someone else may have gotten our reservation information. She responded by saying that this email address is on all the records they have! She sounded like well, it could have been a technical glitch, but doesn't sound like it's any big deal.So now I'm really worried about the kind of information someone else has. What do
we do now? Should we assume that our reservation is fine? We have paid a lot of money for this vacation and we expect to be abe to take it. By the way, we are supposed to leave in a little over a week. Please help!

I don't know about the reservation glitch, but regarding the PS' I don't think they have any special "pull" for them. The availability would be the same if you called yourself.

With all the "internet" problems and stolen idenitity issues going on, I don't blame you for taking issue with this. I would certainly voice my concern with someone of importance at the travel agency, other than your agent, how really seems uninterested, or not grasping the importance of this issue.

My sis had an identity problem, before the laws came out, and trust me, you do not want to live through that mess.

Good luck, Mky princess:

I am a travel agent also(not with DU) and I know on my reservations that I send to my clients does not contain any knid of personal info. I don't think you have to worry about identity theft. Your TA might be having an off week, but I also think if there is a PS you have to have don't leave it up to your TA. Things like CRT that has to be done at 7am I wouldn't take the chance on, I have a small client base and I only book Disney so I do it for my clients but most people would not. Good Luck!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Thanks for all of your replies. In response to an earlier message about the PS reservations, I didn't mean to imply that not getting them was lack of effort by my TA. I honestly believe there could be a number of factors here. The main one being that park attendance is up. As I said earlier, we have always been happy with DU and our TA in our trip planning.
