VERY brief reviews on where we ate.

We were on the dining plan. Me 43, DW younger than that, and 14 yr old son.

Yachtsman Steakhouse. Excellent dinner. Me - ribeye, DW filet Mignon and DS NY Strip. Again excellent. Awful lot of food tho. Will return.

Marrakesh Tangerine Cafe. DW and I shared the Schwarma platter. Great food. Enough to share. Worth a visit every trip.

Whispering Canyon. DS Steak - very good. DW Pasta - not too good at all. I had the skillet, pulled pork was good, ribs were ok and all in all soso. Entertainment was fun, food was mediocre. Probably won't go back.

Boma Dinner. Great again, will return often.

Jiko - First time. Fantastic dinner. Will without a doubt try to get back every visit.

Puck's Express. Very nice chicken pasta. Good pepperoni pizza, soso Chicken Chinois. Probably go back.

Beaches & Cream. Good double cheeseburger for DS. DW and I made the grown up decision to have ice cream for dinner. No Way Jose sundae was excellent.

Kona Cafe breakfast. Tonga toast and press pot Kona coffee. Excellent.

Food court at POP. Shrimp lo mein and curry flatbread were great.

What were your favorites at Boma? If you don't mind my asking!

While my teens loved it, I'm was disappointed with the meat/fish selections.

pennyplanner, my favourite part of the buffet was the soups/stews. Two in particular were delicious. One was a seafood gumbo and the other was a thick curry soup/stew. The prime rib was good. ( I know, I know it isn't particularly African, it was good tho') I enjoyed the flatbread with the hummus. For dessert, the coconut tiramisu was right up my alley.
