Hi Everyone

Just 7 more sleeps until we arrive at Vero, it will be our first there.
Do we need to bring our own beach towels??I know we don't for around the pool, but will they allow you to bring them on to the beach??
Also, is there any cost involved with the miniature golf on site? I am certain that DS and DD will want to play a few times.
I called Vero today and asked if they could please fax me a copy of activities for this week, so we would have some idea of the things that are available. CM said she would, but that it would not be the same as our week. I waited for hours -no fax-.

Thanks for any input!!

You don't need to bring your own towels; you can get some for the beach, too. I can't remember if there was a cost with mini golf; we did not do it.

We loved VB! We had a very enjoyable time there!

Have a great trip!

There's a nominal charge for the mini-golf...I think $1, maybe $2. It's just a few holes but fun.

You can bring pool towels down to the beach. As for mini golf it is minimal, $1 for members $2 for non, but several times during the week, one of the free activities offered was mini golf tournaments for the whole family which was fun.

You can pay a fee for the minigolf, unlimited for the length of your stay. For anyone staying more than 4 nights , this is a reasonable option.

Thanks everyone for the info. Just a few more days to go. We are headed to Buffalo on Thursday night, our flight leaves at 0800 on Friday morning, so we thought this might be a little more reasonable for the children.
We are all so excited. We are going to BWV in December so we are going to try and stay away from the parks this trip(it will be very hard).
Again thanks for the towel and mini golf info!!!

If it's any consolation, cdntiggers, it got hot here early this year. We drove over to EPCOT yesterday, and ended up staying only 3 hours! We broke record high's all over Central Florida yesterday - and that doesn't factor in the heat index once you consider the humidity!

Wait for December for the parks - it will be MUCH more comfortable... (Does that help?!?)

We were just there two weeks ago (LOVED IT).

I kept my activities sheet. If you haven't received the fax yet, I would be happy to post some of the activities or answer any questions re: specific ones or age group you are looking for.

We were in VB 3 weeks ago and we were never charged for the minigolf. Possibly because some of the holes were out of commission for renovation.
