Vero Playground gone

We were suprised to see that the playground equipment at Vero was gone. Hope it will be returned. When the weather is too cold for the pool, the kids have enjoyed running around on the "dry" equipment area, it was a nice feature.

Okay, beach bound, I will be in Vero soon, and I am disappointed. But, the mini golf is still there isn't it?

The mini golf was still there in March as was the tennis courts and basketball courts.

Yep, mini golf is still there. There is a big sandy area where the playground structure used to be. I think it's more important in the winter when there are days that are too cold for swiming. Hope it comes back. They've done a wonderful job with the beach walkway and improved views of the ocean. It not a top priority, but hopefully will come by winter.

My kids would have liked that. I remember last trip looking at the map and thinking - Weird it shows a playground, but I don't see one... DUH!

Maybe email MS and see what they have to say or better yet - call VB directly and ask if they know the scoop. They'll probably know more and be more helpful than going thru MS. I have found replies back from MS to usually be vague at best.
