Vero - how far is it?

Is Vero close to Kennedy Space Centre. How far is it? If combining a trip with WDW and Vero, would it make more sense to go to Kennedy on the Vero days or the WDW days? Thanks.

we are going to wdw and then spending several days at vero. I was wondering the same thing..........

It is about 110 miles from Orlando to Vero Beach. From the Space Center about 65 miles

It takes about one and three quarters to two hours to get there from WDW, according to regulars who own there. I have also been warned that if you take the Turnpike you will go broke from the tolls. We'll take 95!

You might want to spend the day at Kennedy Space Center on your travel day to or from Vero. If not, then I think I'd go to the Space Center on a Vero day. You never know when you might hit a "bad weather" day at Vero. Vero is terrific but it doesn't have as many "things to do" as WDW. Adding the Space Center will fill a day.

We were at VB last week and we had an 8:00 pm flight, so we went to Kennedy Space Center on our flight day. We drove from VB to KSC and stayed until about 4:30 and then headed to the airport. We had plenty of time to return the rental car and eat supper before going to our terminal. It was a nice way to spend our last day.
