vero beach

We will be staying at vero beach in febuary the 7th till the 11th and just read that they have no access to beach and work going on that at times could be noisy.Have not stayed here before so not familiar whether to cancel or live with it.Any input would be appreciated.

We just got that notice too. We're just going down for one night to check it out for the first time. I think we'll go ahead and keep our reservation, since we don't have a specific agenda to use the beach, but it would have been nice to at least walk on it! Ah well, if we like the resort sufficiently, we'll plan another stay there sometime.

Cast members told me there will be a shuttle to a beach for folks wanting it.

Quite frankly, DH & I visit Vero each May and we seldom use the beach. We spend all of our time at the pool. DH has some mobility issues and the Atlantic is a little too rough for him. That being said, however; we do enjoy our ocean view inn rooms!
