We went for the first time in October. There are a lot of activities at the hotel itself. You know, we thought we were going to get bored, but the ocean is like an attraction itself! And its so much cheaper than park tickets. You can walk along the ocean for hours. My husband and I looked for shells. If you had a little pail for your 3-1/2 year old, I'll bet she would like to look for them too. The waves were too strong for me, and I stood in the ocean once in a while and let them hit me, but some of them knocked me over. But that was in October. The pool is lots of fun and I'm sure they have activities for the young ones. They have miniature golf and they rent bikes. We didn't go to the campfire because we completely forgot, but that looks nice. I saw a video of a small girl seeing the ocean for the first time and saying it was the best day or her life. That was on the board here. About activities outside - I really couldn't tell you because we just really didn't feel like leaving the ocean. The good thing is Publix is like 15 minutes from your hotel room to their door. Oh and I think they have a character breakfast on Saturdays or Sunday. I can't remember because we were only there Friday through Sunday. And we flew into Orlando. It was about 1-1/2 hour drive to the hotel, but it wasn't a bad drive.
