We just purchased into DVC at Saratoga Springs and we are talking trying to get a two bedroom suite in Vero Beach during the Thanksgiving Week. Couple of question if people can help me:

- Likelyhood of getting the reservation

- Possible list of activities for a girl 7 years old

- Best way to get to the resort, we are plannig on flying into Orlando, (if there is abetter place let me know.

Orlando's airport (MCO) works fine. Another option would be the airport in West Palm Beach.

Obviously the pool will be great for a 7-year old. I have girls who are 9 & 10 and they practically live at the DVC pools. I've never been to Vero in November, but most times during the year they have supervised activities for kids, like crafts, etc. The beach is also right there.

Again, I have never booked for November, but I would think you would have a fairly good chance. Someone else might be able to give you a better idea. Have fun!

We booked the 3 bdrm cottage for Thanksgiving, so maybe we will see you there! I was there for Thanskgiving about 3 years ago and there was lots of activitiesand we were able to swim, I am hoping for good weather again this year. It is beautiful no matter what time of year!! I would call on your 7th month mark to get a 2 bdrm, just in case.

The closest commercial airport is Melbourne, but service is limited. Either Orlando or West Palm Beach works fine.
