Vero Beach Villa

Hello all,

I spent the past weekend at the Vero Beach resort, in one of the Beach Villas.

The villa itself is just incredible - I love the fact that each villa is separate so it's like truly having your very own beach house. There's two floors with nice sized rooms on the bottom floor and the "living" areas upstairs. Tons of balconies and just an incredible view of the ocean The unit itself was in good condition - no complaints there whatsoever. The only thing that was bothersome is that they have these HUGE humidifiers running in the bedrooms and living room.

Not sure why they didn't think to install something more permanent (and less obtrusive) during the construction but they're there - and I'm guessing they're necessary due to the humidity.

All in all - a pleasant stay - and one that even my very finicky Rich would have loved. Also enjoyed the pool area immensely and of course, the beach was just incredible

Thanks for the report. I would LOVE to stay in a beach villa, but so far have not had enough people to warrant the use of so many points. Maybe some day. Glad you enjoyed it and great to hear from you.

Glad you had a great time. I have never had the experience of staying in a beach cottage (actually, villas are the buildings away from the ocean). Last year we had a humidifier for the first time also. I have to say though, I must have emptied that thing 3 times a day. That's a lot of water.

Maybe some day we'll splurge on ourselves and stay in a cottage.

40.....That's cool. We're celebrating 32 this year. We met when we were both 16.

Glad to hear about your great trip! I dream of orchestrating a reunion in one of the beach cottages. They look so incredible. It's nice to know Richyams would have given it a thumbs up.

I wish we could make some sort of "VB is Richyams Approved" sticky thing for the DVC VB info thread.

Thanks for the review from yours and Rich's eyes. We are hoping to reserve a BC for next April.
