I was wondering if anyone has done the drive from Vero Beach to Daytona during the 4th of July Race? We usually stay at OKW at Disney World and drive to Daytona for the Saturday race. Next year we were thinking about staying at Vero then driving up to Daytona on Saturday morning for the race. Just curious how the traffic is heading up the coast to the race. Mapquest say approx 2 hours (obviously w/o traffic)...anyone with experience on how long it might be on race day?
