Vero Beach room location change, possible?

I have had better luck with getting my room changed from what was orginally assigned to me at WDW by arriving before noon. But that's just my experience there.

Has anyone had the same luck with Vero Beach? Or can it even be done? Say, I am assigned a 2nd floor room but would like a 3rd or 4th floor room? I would be a guest paying in cash.

Also, I am assuming Disney doesn't offer any room discounts there throughout the year, correct?

You can always let them know your preferences but specific rooms/room locations are not guaranteed beyond the booked room category.
