Vero Beach - Rent Chairs and Towels?

I was going over the discounts for members on the website for the Vero Beach Resort. I noticed one of them being 6$ off the rental of towels and 2 chairs. Do we really have to rent the towel and chairs for the pool? Am I misunderstanding this? Or is this just for the beach?

The discount is for the chair and umbrella rentals on the beach. You do not have to rent chairs and or towels at the pool.

I know it was a silly question, but I was just surprised that it said Beach AND Pool rental discount on the website. I thought I'd check with DIS. I guess that's just a misprint.
