I *think* Disney's Vero Beach is a DVC property - sorry I am a bit out of my depth here - anyway, friends of mine are going to the Vero Beach area for 2 weeks in February and are looking for things to do - they have a DS 4 and a DD 2 and will be driving and staying at their parents vacation home. Does anyone have any ideas, maybe websites they can look at? Thanks very much :flower:

hi, here is a link to a great thread about things to do in and around vero beach.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=320208

it's about 6 pages long now, but very informative. We are currently at vero and the 2 things we really enjoyed this week were the manatee viewing station in fort pierce and the energy thing over at the nuclear power plant on hutchinson island. (it was free and very hands on and dd age 9 loved it). the manatee viewing area has a little museum ($1 per person) that has several fish tanks with some cool looking fish...

we haven't found a lot of shells this trip, I think mostly due to the fact that they have trucked in a lot of sand to rebuild the beaches. (there have been a ton of jelly fish however).
