Tried asking this in the VB thread but have not gotten any responses so here goes.....

We are beginning to plan for our June 2013 summer vacation and are considering a 6 or 7 night stay at Vero Beach in a one or two bedroom villa. I have a few questions:

1. When is the earliest that I can call CRO to make cash reservations for VB? What is the refund policy if I need to cancel...say at 90 days out?

2. Are there ever any general public discounts for this resort?

3. How comfortable are the sleeper sofa and twin chair beds? For 14 and 12 yr old DDs.....

4. Having a hard time finding recent photos of VB 1 or 2 bdrm villas. Anyone who can post some pics or direct me to the post/website/etc to find?

Thanks a bunch!:goodvibes

Thanks for the response. At least you tried--LOL;) The pics unfortunately are the same I have found other places and are of the Inn and not the villas. I have found pics of the cottages, the Inn, and really OLD pics of the villas. The only sofa sleeper/chair sleeper info I have found are conversations of other resorts which doesn't really help cuz it seems some resorts have one type and others have a different type. ugh...... someone out there must have the prized info......:bored:

ETA: Was the chair mattress like stiff foam or a memory foam or ???

Hello, I am going to Vero in June and will be staying a two bedroom. I will get some pictures for you and send them to you. I have never book using cash, so I can not answer those questions. I would suggest maybe calling them and ask those questions. JP

Thanks so much! I would love to see some updated pics and this thread could use some resort room eye candy:surfweb: Maybe you could sleep on the couch and the chair matresses and answer those questions too--LOL:rotfl2: Just kidding.....

A few years ago, Disney Visa had some special rates for VB & DHH, but the time was was October, maybe November.

Our DS, 6'5" slept on the sleeper sofa fine. I was disappointed that the dedicated 2 bedrooms only had a queen & sofa bed in that second bedroom.

I think they ran into the "oops the room is too small for 2 real beds" like some of the dedicated 2brs at BCV.

The sleeper sofa as a 2nd bed is something we've learned to deal with, as a lot of the other name brand timeshares have those in their 2br lock off units. They negotiate the splitting of nights on the sofa bed. I stay out of it unless they get too loud.

For the OP, I've seen the sleeper chair but never had the urge to open one up and take a picture.
