We will be going to Vero for a week starting next Monday and started to pack  We have two OVIRs.
Can anyone please tell me the following:

Are there washers/dryers on each floor? How do I pay?
Do you feel the washers/dryers are always busy and I should pack more (REALLY don't want to since we are flying and just got back last night from a week cruise and STILL doing laundry this morning, rather do the wash on vacation while relaxing).

Do I need to bring beach towels? If Vero supplies the towels, do they "charge" for them (ie., rent them).

We rented some extra points we had and put that money aside for lounge chair and umbrella rentals for the five of us for the week so don't have to worry about those items.
But, since we are renting the loungers, is it possible to move them closer to the water if we want to?

Does the little "fridge" in the room have a "freezer". If so, is it cold enough to freeze the freezer packs you would put in your cooler?

Although we will be renting a mini van at the airport, has anyone ever had Garden Grocer deliver food (or a company similiar) to the resort so you don't have to food shop? Since we only have OVIRs, I am guessing that the fridges are the little ones you would see in a hotel. Is that correct?

Thank you ALL very very much!

Going in less than a week  Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Disney's Vero Beach Resort Pool Towels

Disney's Vero Beach Resort has upgraded its pool towels with larger, plusher versions stocked in Vacation Homes. Each Vacation Home is equipped with the appropriate number of pool towels based on that Vacation Home's occupancy. Pool towels will not be available at poolside or the beach, except on a one-for-one exchange basis. Members and Guests may also exchange used pool towels for clean replacements by contacting Housekeeping for delivery to their Vacation Home, or during regularly scheduled housekeeping services.

Don't worry about towels. You can exchange for new towels at Eb and Flo's at any time. The Inn has 3 washer's and 8 dryers all located on the 4th floor and they are free of charge . I was able to get a washer and dryer with no wait and the resort was completely booked. They are large units so you can do a large load . It took me about 2 hours from start to finish. You could have someone waiting for your washer so I tried to get back quickly !

The only people that had moved closer to the beach were the ones that brought there own umbrellas. The fridge is small and I believe had a very small freezer. You will pass a grocery store about 5 min. before you get to the resort so we did not have groceries delivered.

In another post someone said they bought a beach umbreally and 2 beach chairs at a nearby Wal-Mart for less than what daily rental would have cost them.

At the end of your vacation, you could pass the umbrellas and chairs to someone else.

Great news! Thank you very much for your response! I packed some of those washer/dryer sheets and packed accordingly that I will be doing laundry.
Free washer/dryers, that is very nice.

Thanks. I guess then I can move the loungers if I want without moving the umbrellas. Good to know. We have two rooms so can put some beverages in one and use the other for some breakfast/lunch items. Thanks so much!

We thought about doing this but decided we would use the money we got renting our extra points (I think it was about 35 or so) to use for the loungers and umbrealls. I understand it is much less expensive purchasing our own but we had the extra unused points and decided it would be nice to not have any hassles carring chairs and umbrealls (there are 5 of us).

Thank you all very much! Finishing up our packing today and heading out Monday evening!
