I saw somewhere about chair rentals. we have never been to VB before. we are going 3rd week of July. do you have to rent loungers by the pool or at the beach? are there any that are first come/first serve? how difficult is it to secure a couple? thanks!!!!

The beach with the breeze is much more comfortable. The pool which is very nice by the way doesn't get as much breeze so it can be much warmer but there are areas that have shade.

thanks, pink, tinkl do you know how much they cost?

Sorry, I can't remember what they charged. I just took my big beach towel and spread it out on the sand. I was perfectly comfortable! :goodvibes

I know that information is on here somewhere...maybe on the Vero adoration thread.

we are not so much concerned about shade, or umbrellas. we like the sun. we like to stretch out on loungers on our backs, and read. a blanket is nice, but not so much for reading. maybe we will bring chairs for reading.. is that allowed?
if we "set up" a spot, with a blanket and our own chairs, for the day, is that "respected" and allowed?
also, are you allowed to bring a cooler on the beach? with sandwiches? cans of soda? beer?
I don't want to break any rules. we have never been to this resort. are they any rules we should know about?

Yes you may definitely bring your own chairs and your area is respected and allowed! You may bring coolers with whatever you'd like to the beach, we always take beer/sodas and snacks with us. Once on the beach you can go in 75 yards in either direction and basically have the area to yourself! This is one of the things we really love about Vero. Here is a photo:
