Hello all. We're from the Orlando area and interested in buying a timeshare at the beach, maybe Disney's Vero Beach resort. We would really only use our ponts there because we live within minutes of Disney property.

Is Vero beach just sold through resales or can we still buy in through Disney?

:flower:

Vero Beach is a "sold out" resort, but I would not be surprised if you couldn't still pick up some points from Disney. They tend to have some inventory of the sold out resorts available - from ROFR's.

That said, Disney does not run any promotions on the sold out resorts. Your price per point would be less going resale. Disney does offer financing though, so if that is a consideration, you might give them a call.

If you want it - buy it resale and don't pay more than $60 per point (with current points included). This might not be your best choice for ocean front however. Part of what you're paying for is access to the WDW DVC resorts. You could probably get something comperable (non-DVC) on the ocean for less.

you should only buy at Vero through a resale. In the lower $60 range is about right. It is more likely to go through Disney's rofr than any of the other DVC resorts. Goodluck.
