Does anyone know if vero beach fills up alot in summer ? we would be going on weekdays, but only for 1 or 2 nights? can u book it close to going or does it have to be booked early also??

It depends on what you want, but if you can plan at 6-7 months you should be able to get something. It's not like HHI that you have to own there to get in during the summer months. I was able to get 2 OVIRs for the last week in June this year, and I booked them at 7 months. I used up my VB points for a BC for that week. That I booked at 11 months on the dot!:goodvibes

my husbband is the busiest in the summer and we cannot book more that 3-4 wks aahead.. is that a problem in vero

Vero is a very popular resort for spring break and summer vacations. Plan on making a reservation as far in advance as you can. :cool1::banana::banana:

We were able to book a 2 bedroom lock-off for the 2nd week of August at 7 months. We will be dropping my son of for his first year at Florida Institute of Technology.

I booked for 3 nights (Thurs-Sun) in late July at 6 months out and was told that we got the last available studio for our dates. I think the sooner you can book the better off you are.

I agree with most the responses. VB has a much bigger season than HHI and the peak times seem to be spring to early summer. We have always been successful in getting what we want, but that is at 7 months. I THINK you will be ok. Good luck.

I called member services yesterday checking availability at Vero for June 11-19th. There were no 1 bedrooms available, and studios/inn rooms were only available on the 11th, 12th, 16th, 17th, and 18th. Nothing in those categories for the 13th through the 15th.

Good luck. We "settled" with splitting our time between VWL and Vero.
