Vero Beach in October??????????Help

Traveling back again in October of 07. My home resort is SSR. We are planning an October trip. However, thinking of doing a few days at Vero in the middle of October and then going to SSR for a few days.

My questions are:

1) Booking 7 months out (around March), will I be able to get something at Vero Beach before heading to WDW

2) How long of a drive over to WDW

3) Where do I fly into, or is it cheaper to fly into Orlando and drive over.

Can't say whether you'll get the booking or not, but seven months out will give you a good shot.

Fly into MCO and drive to Vero Beach. Disney's Vero Beach Resort is on Orchid Island and not in Vero Beach, FL.

It's about a two hour drive (depending on traffic) from the greater Orlando Area. It's a pretty easy drive, but get good directions from Sebastian to Orchid Island.
