Vero beach in march

Hi,
I'd like to invite my sister and husband to vb for a week in March. Has anyone ever been this time of year, and is it warm? Can you swim or is it too cold? If march isn't the best time to go,what do you recommend? Thanks.

My spring break is always in March, around the 19th. We've never had particularly warm weather then. We've swam in the pool, and have had wonderful vacations then but have found May to be much nicer as far as swimming in the ocean goes. In March, we've always been able to take nice long bicycle rides, something that we don't necessarily do when we've gone in May or June, the other main times that we've been to Vero.

The start of March can be hit or miss. This yeasr it was still cold but it can be a really nice time of year to come to VB.

We went for Spring Break and the ocean was way too cold. The pool was nice and the Easter Egg hunt was great.

Hi, We have been at Vero Beach the last two Years in the middle of March.
Two years ago it was hot and the ocean was around 80 and we spent alot of time in it. This last year was a lot cooler and the ocean was in the low 60's,
my boys were still in it, but not me. We still had a great time. I think last winter in Florida was exceptionally cold.
