After watching todays DVCfan episode I am curious to go to VB now. We already have a WDW trip booked the second week of January and would go to VB before we go to the parks with our other family. There would be 3 adults, would a deluxe inn room be better than the studio? Also is the beach decently warm in January?

I rarely see people in the ocean in January!

The two queen beds in the Inn rooms are what we prefer. If you are OK with the one queen and one pull out bed, you may prefer the studio since then you do have a sofa to sit on while watching TV.

Must not be to many people from Maine then going to VB during January............. :)

If you want ocean view, get the inn room (with ocean view). Even the inn rooms have a kitchenette, I believe. As Bobbi states, the couch is the big difference between studio and inn room. The beach temp will depend on the weather. The water will be chilly.

But like the other resorts, do they heat the pools?

Are any of the activities things you have to pay for? I see they have mini golf and bike rentals

Honestly… January can be a very cold month in Vero. On average it’s the coldest month, more so than December or February.
