Following spending New Years Eve at BWV we will be heading towards VB for the first week in January.

Will VB have any special things ongoing from the holidays? Or is over by the time I will be visiting.

Will it be warm enough to swim?

Any recommendations for entertaining the kids whilst in VB would be much appreciated.

Thanks to all in advance.

We were there over MLK weekend in mid-January 2004. As for swimming, I'm from Maine, so as long as the pond ain't frozen over it's swimmin' weather. Last January we had temps in the mid to high 70s and the ocean was great; since the pool is heated, it was also lovely. Note that during this period temps in Orlando were about 10 degrees cooler.

As for kids activities, there was a full slate of stuff going on, I'm sure your kids will have a bunch of things every day to keep them interested, plus there are a bunch of things outside of the resort that you could all do together.

Have fun!
