Vero Beach - Chairs and Umbrella to Pass On

Hi we are here in wonderful Vero Beach. The weather is terrific and we are enjoying our first trip to Vero. The "ledge" to the beach is horrific!!! The dune is at least 10 - 12 feet high and there is no real access but to slide down and climb back up. Several locals have told me that Hurricane Nicole washed away the new beach. The dune clearly begins at the high tide line, so that makes perfect sense. DH and I have made the trek down and back, but just once a day, it is too difficult to do more frequently.
That said, we love the beach and the water is very warm.
We have 2 beach chairs passed on to us and we would now like to do the same for another family. We added a beach umbrella, so now I am offering 2 chairs in bags (easy to carry) and a beach umbrella (fits in one of the chair bags) to the first person who responds.
We are chcecking out on Saturday October 18th and will pass them on at that time.
I do not have my laptop and I am paying for access. So I will check again on
Friday. I will pass them on to the first person to respond to me and leave me the name their reservation is in. We just asked at the front desk and they retrieved them for us out of storage.

This is such a wonderful gift! I need to remember to check here before our next beach vacation. We were at Hilton Head a couple of years ago and the weather was terrible. We never made it to the beach. I am so glad we hadn't purchased special beach equipment. What a neat "pay it forward". I love the Disney community.

They are yours Amy. I will leave a message at the front desk that "Amy" will be asking for them (You did not leave me the name the reservation is under).
For us they were in baggage storage when we asked.
They are 2 red chairs in red bags and a blue beach umbrella fits in one of the chair bags.

Enjoy your trip to Vero, we have loved it here and the chairs made it so much more enjoyable.

We are home after a wonderful trip to Vero Beach. We had great weather.
We are "beach people" and the chairs made it so much more enjoyable for us.

We also have three boogie boards. We are checking out in a couple of hours, so don,t know if you will get this in time, but if you want them let us know...otherwise we will just leave them by the gate at the beach.

Are the chairs still around? We have our own at home, but DH is concerned about the space they'll take in the van since there are five of us going. I know we probably won't need a beach umbrella in December (arriving Christmas Day) but I do enjoy my beach chairs.
