Vero Beach at the beginning of April

We are planning a trip to WDW March 30th to april 6th 2008. We would like to try Vero Beach for 2 days, and then transfer to WDW for the remainder of the trip. What is it like that time of year?

As far as weather goes, I it's usually warm enough for shorts and shirts, but not too hot and humid yet. Well, until you get closer to May anyway. I haven't stayed there before, so that's all I can tell you!

I think it is really luck of the draw. The one time we went there in (early) April it was a bit too chilly for us, but on average it should be fine.

We went mid April last year and it was gorgeous! 80's during the day and mid 60's at night!
