Is there a specific building I should request for a two bedroom??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i honestly don't recall the building number, it may have been #15 :confused3 i am going to look around the house here to see if we wrote the room and building number down. i do know that it was a 2bd lock-off, not a 2bd dedicated! when we reserved for this year we asked for a lock-off again because the first time we went we had a reg. 2bd and the view was of the parking lot!!

here is a picture of the cabin that was right below us last year. i would love to stay in a cabin but have had no luck in getting one!

i do know that both stays we where in the same building, but just different sides of it! OH!!!! it is the building near the camp fire!!! does that help?? :confused3

Thanks!!! Do you know if the mugs are the "Year of a Million Dreams" ones like at WDW or do they say Vero Beach Resort?? I would really like to have one that says Vero Beach. I had started collecting the mugs as souvenirs from the resorts before Disney changed them.

In April the mugs were generic with Disney characters on them.

Yes, that tells me it is building #12. Wow I didn't realize that much vegetation had been lost (to the hurricanes) in front of that villa.

Thanks for that info, and for the lock-off vs. dedicated info. My DD, DS, & DDIL will be staying in a 2bdrm on our visit this June so I will definitely request a lock-off.

:beach:

Kritter... I would say buldings 12 and 15 are both good bets.

Hey MrsNick....some of our dates overlap. See you there !

Yes, we'll see you there! :goodvibes DH and I spend at least a few afternoons or evenings hanging out at the Green Cabin Room. When we aren't at the Green Cabin Room, we're at the beach (unless it's inclement weather). But, we love just hanging out on the balcony at the Green Cabin Room with a hamburger and an adult beverage to wash it down :lovestruc

Wow You lost the room lottery with that one. I know all the dedicated 2 bedrooms are at the ends of the buildings closer to the parking lots. I had always thought the location you got would be the worse because you are looking at the entrance to the Inn parking.

Hi! This is my first time posting, so be gentle. DW and I (without kids)will be at VB for 1st time over memorial weekend. If we check in early and our room is not ready will we be allowed to use the beach or pool? Thanks! This boards is such a great source. I have been a lurker for years, but finally had a question that I couldn't find an answer too!

Hey Tony,

Absolutely, You can use the pool, facilities, and the beach. They have indoor showers where you can change into/out of suits, etc. It is a real bonus when we get our room early, but either way it is like getting an extra day when you arrive early and make use of everything.

Have a great trip and welcome to the DISboards!

Hope to see ya there Mrs Nick :thumbsup2

Wow Yoanny........that view from your bedroom window is just out-of-this-world awesome :yay: Really made up for the parking lot view you had in a past trip. Thanks for sharing ....your photos are great.

Rob, wanted to thank you for the link on the fires too :thumbsup2 My uncle in Sebastian (he lives 10 min from Disney's Vero Beach), is reporting alot of smoke smell. He told me they have to keep doors and windows shut tight. He also mentioned detours on I 95 around his area.

Hi Captain Tony ! Welcome to the Vero Beach group :welcome:
We hope you stay with us and report back on your upcoming trip :)

Hi - forgive me if I've missed this info somewhere in the middle of this thread, but DH asked if we can use disney dollars at the resort at VB when we are there in 139 days (yeah!)? Does anyone know if we can ... thanks!

Also thanks for the tip about KSC tickets ... contacted our congresswoman and am waiting to hear back ... will keep our fingers crossed!

Could use some expired-waitlist mojo for an Ocean View instead of our current Garden View. Calling three times a day.

5/23-5/26

We will be checking into Vero next week at this time :dance3: ! Looking forward to our first stay. Thanks to everyone here who has provided so much information for us newbies :thumbsup2 .

See you there. Hope you enjoy your first stay!pirate:

Are there any good places for steak near Vero Beach? We plan on squid lips one night, and we are going to WDW for a week, but the one thing my plan is missing is a good steak place. We don't have time at WDW to fit in my favorites, so I'm hoping on one of our nights at Vero we can go there. I know it's probably more known for it's seafood, but still.

Hi Sarahtink ~
I don't think you can buy them at Vero, but I'm pretty sure they can be used as money at Vero Beach, Hilton Head, Disneyland and the the Disney cruiselines. Hope this helps !
