Vero Beach 7-month Success Stories

How easy would it be to get a studio or deluxe in room at Vero Beach for Thur Oct 20 & Friday Oct 21 2011 at 7 months out. We were thinking of staying two night here after our first 4-night Disney Cruise next fall.

I don't think mid to late fall is a very popular season. I stayed at Vero Beach for 3 nights in a Deluxe Oceanview room during the second week of November last year and I booked the reservation 5 months in advance. I would say your chances are very good, especially if you book precisely 7 months in advance and call at 9 am that morning. Good luck!

Yes, we booked October (maybe that weekend) in 2008 and it was empty. Vero Beach was a great place to stay.

We normally book a ressie for May at 7 months out for a Deluxe Ocean View Inn room. We have never had a problem.

Fall is a slow season for DVC and everyone in general.....shouldn't be a problem

I was able to get 3rd Week in April for a 2BR Villa no problem and I was only 6 months out. That is the week of Spring Break here, so I thought it would not happen. I received my second choice of dates which was Monday through the weekend. (My first was the weekend through Friday so that we could get home and relax a day or so before back to the grinde, but that is fine) And as stated fall is slower time. June, July and August is the most difficult.

I've been thinking about trying to add Vero onto our August trip in 2011. Our seven month window is coming up and we have NO experience with Vero. Is August out of the question? Should we do it before/after the World? I was thinking before.. but just curious.
