VERO BEACH 2016 Information & Adoration Thread

Hi - we'll be there end of august. Does anyone have a recent activity schedule? Also would love an update on the restaurant situation. Thanks!

It is my impression from the boards that Building 15 has been renovated. If you go several posts back, around June 8th or 9th ,there was a post with pics from facebook of newly renovated villa. ENJOY, beautiful resort, so relaxing!:beach:

We will be there 6/25 - 7/2 too. No building to request as all of the Inn rooms are in the Inn:flower1: The Inn is the yellow building in the photo below.

Will someone please post a recent activity schedule as well as pricing for the paid for activities? I am interested to know how much the kayak tours cost.

Thanks!

We will be staying at VB early July, we have 2 studios for my family and my brother's family. Our cousin is staying right up the road. Is it feisable for her to come join us? To have meals, and relax with us?

Thanks!

Locals are welcome to eat at VB,so your cousin could join you for meals. The beach is public too, so he can join you there. The pool though - that's supposed to be for guests only.

We are here now and the weather is pretty fantastic! The Inn Garden View rooms we have overlook the pool, just as we asked for. The updated decor is so nice. LOVE the staff here too. The 4 the floor of the Inn is still under construction, so no laundry room or ice in the Inn. Laundry can be done in the garage of any DVC building and the front desk will get you ice.

Kayaking is $55 for DVC members and $60 for non members

Sadly:sad2: heard about a toxic algae bloom on the Stuart, Florida beaches which is virtually shutting down tourism on that beach. :scared1:Governor declared a state of emergency in that county. Just looked up Stuart from Vero and it seems like it is about 35 minutes away. HOPE that the beautiful beaches/ocean of Vero have not been effected. HAPPY 4TH to anyone spending the weekend at Vero!:goodvibes

Oh no! State of emergency declared for St. Lucie, which is the next county south from Indian River county, where Vero is located. We arrive on the 4th, & I'll try to keep you posted.

I am HOPEFUL that it is not affecting Vero Beach.:goodvibes SO SAD to see it again on the national news about Stuart, especially for the fisherman who need to make a living and shopkeepers and the like who depend on the tourism.:sad2: Please post if you can and ENJOY the 4th at Vero! :beach:

Refillable mug question... we are staying two days at the Polynesian then head to DVB. If I buy refillable mugs at the Poly does it transfer on to DVB? I won't buy mugs at the Poly if they don't transfer. Does anyone know the answer?

And does anyone know (considering the renovations) if there is a refill station in the pool area?
