Vero at 7 Months?

I will be calling to make a reservation at Vero at the 7 month window for July. (not the 4th) Hoping to get an OVIR. Possible? This will be our first VB trip and are really looking forward to it.

We planned to do a 7 month ressie at HHI for a Tue-Thu stay in June but there was no availability for all three nights. This was right at the 7 month mark. So we got VB for our June trip instead for Thu-Sun which was about 6 months and 25 days out at the time.

We were booking a 1 Bedroom in both cases. For VB, we got the last 1 Bedroom.

Call right at the 7 month mark at 9:00 am. The inn rooms are the easiest to get because there are more of them. Good luck. We will be there the end of June in a beach cottage.

We're not VB owners, but have successfully may ressies in every month from April thru December. July is not peak demand time. You shouldn't have any problem outside of holidays.

We got Vero a few months before for July, and even called up to 3 weeks before, to make a change.

My expecation is you should be able to book an Inn room...maybe not OVIR.

VB has 18 Dedicated 2BR, 36 Lockoffs, 6 Grand Villas, and 112 Inn rooms. Unfortunately I do not know how many of the Inn rooms are OVIR.

Personally I'd go with the GVIR if I couldn't get an OVIR. Advantage of GVIR is less points which is a bonus for me! A studio is the same number of points as an OVIR. Studio, however, has a couch where as the Inn Rooms have 2 queen size beds and no couch.

And yet I would call right at 7 mos. We go nearly every July, reserving at 11 mos, and when we arrive the resort is always at capacity

Good for you!! OV is the best, I have requested "direct" oceanview in the past.
Usually dh and i go to VB in May and have never had any problems getting the OV at the 7 month window.
Doing something a little different this year; we're renting a condo for the month down the road a bit

Are all of the OVIR views the same? In other words are some rooms better than others in terms of view?
