Vero at 7 months?

We are planning a trip to Vero for next June and I was wondering how difficult booking will be at 7 months. I know getting an Inn room won't be difficult but we are going to want a 1 bdr villa so that we can have a kitchen facility.

We have friends we will travel with who own at Vero so they shouldn't have a problem getting a villa. Would it be possible for me to transfer points to them and have them make reservations for both our rooms at 11 months? I don't know if this is allowed or ethical. I'd really like a 1 BDR villa but at the same time I also wouldn't want to shut out a VB owner by skirting the rules..

Oh my...I was just checking the boards to find out the same thing too!! We are looking for either two 2BR units or a cottage in May at the 7 month window. I guess we won't know for sure until we try though.

You should not have a problem getting a two bedroom in May or say first 2 wks in June. HOWEVER, I would call right at 7 mos. because there are very few 2 bdrms. total at the resort. Good Luck!!!

We have never had an issue booking for June at the 7 month window for an ocean view inn room or a 2 bedrm. I always call the very first day I can - not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I booked for early June 2008 at Vero. I called as soon as my DVC contract went through which was at 6 1/2 months out. The had plenty of availability for the inn rooms (ocean view and garden view), which I reserved. I waited listed for a 1BR and it come through about 6-8 weeks before my trip. I had the most awesome 1BR with a fantastic view of the ocean. I don't think I will every be that lucky again!

what about a 2 bedroom for Sept 2009 at the 7 month window. I know its far off but i figured since others are asking............
