Hi,
I just booked my first stay at Vero in a 1-bedroom. Does anyone know what the views are from the 1-bedrooms? Thank you!

Jayne

We stayed in the Deluxe Inn Room-Ocean View room last June and it was awesome. It was my kids and husbands' first time to see the ocean and our balcony looked right out onto the ocean. You are so close you can hear the waves! Enjoy your trip.

I believe all the 1 bedrooms face the ocean (someone correct me if I am wrong). But you need one on a high floor to actually see the ocean. We had one on the 3rd floor that was absolutely wonderful!! We could see huge fish jumping out of the ocean - so cool. We also had one on the first floor and no ocean view, but was very lovely as well. Just request high floor.

This is not true. To have some chance of seeing the ocean, you need to ask for a one bedroom "lockoff" unit. These are ocean facing. Otherwise, you could have anytype of view in a one bedroom.

Actually it is true, sort of. All dedicated units (2BR) are to the rear of each building, making the lockoff units near the front or ocean side of the building. So, 1 BR units have a better chance of getting an ocean view. As said, though, you need to have a high floor to see over the vegitation.

Maybe we are saying the same thing. I toured a one bedroom this past August with a cast member. No dedicated rooms, either 2 bedroom or 1 bedroom will back to the ocean. They must be lock-offs. So anyone wanting a chance of seeing the ocean needs to request a lockoff unit. Otherwise, views will be of vegetation, parkinglot, pool.

With a one bedroom you can't count on getting an ocean view. In fact it's probably better to assume you will not get one and then be pleasantly surprised if you are lucky enough.

All the one bedrooms are lock-offs in 3 three story 'U' shaped villa buildings, where the bottom of the 'U' faces the ocean. The lower levels will have a view of vegetation or a Beach Cottage (the 3 bedroom units).

I photoshopped this image to give an idea of the room orientation. I think it is correct but not sure. (I've never stayed in a villa) The ocean would be at the top of the image.

There are no dedicated studios or 1 BR units at VB. Certainly Inn rooms are similar to studios. As noted, 2 BR dedicated are the end units nearest the parking lot/street. I'd request a higher floor unit facing the ocean and hope for the best.
