Verizon???

some of my add-on apps on my droid:

barcode scanner (can be used to get more apps/enter URLs, etc.)
ConnectBot (ssh client so I can fix servers)
CarFinder (just in case :) )
Bubble level
K-9 email (better than the default client, based on the source code)
Touchdown email (for Exchange at work)
Google Sky Map
Layar (looks neat, haven't used it a lot yet)
Shazam (listens to a song, tells you what it is)
The Schwartz (keeps my kids amazingly amused...)
Solitaire
Sudoku
Virtual Vuvuzela (just to drive others crazy)
WikiMobile
Wheres My Droid (text your phone to turn on ringer, full volume, for when you can't find where you left it)
Swype (cool virtual keyboard entry)

Oops - forgot the most important - Advanced Task Killer. Kill all those pesky apps when you don't need them to be eating the battery.

I must be the only one, but I had to switch from Verizon. I live just outside of Chicago and I couldn't get service in my house, and I don't live in a fallout shelter. I've had 4 other carriers and all worked fine in my house. I always swore that if I ever met that "can you hear me now" guy I was going to kick him where he is best left unkicked. Have ATT now and have no complaints at all.

i also have the vuvuzuela its so annoying :rotfl2:

We've had Verizon for awhile and have never had an problems with the service, dropped calls, customer service or phones (currently have the Droid and really love it). We also always have good service in the WDW parks too (just don't tell our inlaws since we use the old "sorry, reception must be bad" sometimes if they are trying to reach us while on vacation).

A free game that I enjoy for the Droid is "Trap". Like "Last.fm" for music when the iTouch is dead, "FxCamera" is fun, "ShopSavvy" for scanning barcodes, "Carrr Matey" for finding the car, "Bubble" for when you need a level and just don't have one handy, "Color Flashlight" which works surprisingly well, and have fun with "Goggles". :)
