Verizon Wireless. . . .

is not my favorite phone company right now.

I got the enV touch last June and I absolutely loved it until.........

• my screen started turned colors
• my phone started to freeze
• my battery would die within 3 hours of a full charge
• it randomly decided to shut off
• and the list goes on....

I've had my memory card replaced, two new batteries, and I'm on my third phone. . .I got a new one yesterday and it's already causing problems so my dad and I are going in Thursday for a new phone model. /Vent.

Soooo, I was wondering if you guys new of a good Verizon phone..one good for texting and pictures and that has a good battery lifespan.

my envy will randomly turn off AND on as well as last forever on 1 power cell but die an hr after i charge it! i keep my cell in my purse at shcool and one day in math my purse started to vibrate, it turned on oni it's own!!! my friend covered for me and i was in the back of the room, so i didn't get in trouble

i kinda want to stay away from enVs. . .i had the original enV an that caused problems for me. i was going to get the enV 3 but my friend is returning hers soon because hers is shutting off by itself and freezing.. :/

mine likes turning on and off while i am at school. i have it on auto-lock on power up though to prevent any unwanted sounds.

Happening to my enV Touch also.. Well this is just great

i wish i could get mine fixed, but i like it other than the glitches my lil sis got the nokia twist for christmas and it's rly cool, so if u could trade urs in that would be the one i'd get, imho

I was looking at the Razzle. It's very similar to that phone except it has a full keyboard.

I don't think its Verizon Wireless' fault. its the Envy's. I had other verizon wireless phones before and they were working perfectly.. besides, I only hear about these probablys with Envy2, Envy3, or Envy touch.

I totally agree with the enV.

The problem with Verizon (which I forgot to mention earlier) is they are being no help at all. They believe that by sending me duplicates of the same phone or phone battery will fix the problem. The Verizon store is dead set on me switching to a Droid because that's the "ONLY" phone that is worth buying today...even after I told them I don't want internet, touch, or a slide phone if possible--which the Droid has all three. :/

When i had the EnV1 is worked AMAZING.. EnV Touch is just bad.. lol

I have the samsung intensity. it is a pretty decent phone.. It has a qwerty keyboard for texting. The only thing i don't like is that the camera does not have zoom other than that i would say the samsung intensity is an amazing phone. I hope you find what you are looking for!!

Yeah I totally agree. I mean I love Verizon. They certinaly do have the best coverage. but I was like "Uh. my Envy 2 is turning off on me randomly" and shes like "Okay heres a new one!"

Honestly, don't you think that that would drive customers away, if they only offered you the same phone? For me, the ONLY reason I'm staying with Verizon is because my dad's company gives us a really good discount. If I had my way I'd be with a new company in a minute.

I don't think it would drive customers away. I mean, they're just doing their job. It's not like they're going to give me a brand new phone that I didn't have to pay 200 for. THAT would be.. unbelieveble. BUT, I STILL got a new phone! and I haven't run into the problems I had with my old evy2 yet.

Both of my parents have the enV2 and both have problems with the phone just randomly shutting off even with full battery.

I wanted nothing to do with a touch screen phone until a friend of mine got the Droid. I loved it so much I asked my husband to get it for me for Christmas, which he did. I haven't had any problems with it. Before this I had the blackberry curve, which I also wanted nothing to do with but ended up loving. The BB was very user friendly, I really recommend it!
