Verizon Wireless experience in WDW Resort Area??

Has anyone had any experience with Verizon Wireless in WDW???

I know you can pretty much travel nationwide withour roaming charges... but I was wondering if you are not roaming within the resort area and the theme parks...

We've used family radios in the past, but you get interference, and the range is short, but my wife and I are "IN" on the verizon plan, so we should be able to talk for free using our cells...

I have the verizon family share plan - no roaming charges at WDW or anywhere. They work fine at WDW. If you have unlimited mobile to mobile it doesn't even use up your minutes.

I had no problmes using my Verizon Wireless at disneyworld(and I have the pre-pay plan(the older better one, not the newer one where they charge you 99 cents a day even if you dont use it).

We use our phone (Verizon America's choice family plan) each time we go to Disney and there is no roaming. The only time I did not have a good signal was in the hotel room but that is to be expected. One thing I did learn was to put my ringer on ring/vibrate. That way you have a better chance of hearing or at least feeling it.

Works great for us no roaming We even made DB get verizon to limit minutes used for upcoming trip.

I used my phone in the hotels, near the pools and all over the parks! It was great reseption! It sounded like they where talkign to you a block away!! And they where in Colorado up in the Mts! (and in tx). I NEVER was out of servise!

Both my personal cell and work blackberry worked fine as long as I was outside, but reception inside the Shades of Green hotel was not good.
