Verizon Fios: Is Your Email Working?

Posted this on another board. Our Verizon home page and email have been down all day. Tech support has no idea when it will be repaired. Wondering if your Fios email is down where you live. Seems they should stop rolling out new markets and fix the seriously lacking markets they are already in. We have had this service since just before Memorial Day and this is one of many service interruptions. Just last tuesday, we couldn't access email or our home page until after 4:30pm, pst. Is this the norm for Verizon Fios?

It's very unusual for our Fios email to go down. And, it is working fine now -- I just checked it.

I also got Fios installed on Memorial Day Weekend. I have not had ONE service interruption.

As for my e-mail, it is working. Just last week, the normal link/button I used to access my e-mail had problems. I would login and then as it was going to load, it would just get hung up and my inbox would not load. My dad, who does not have Fios but DSL, was having the same issue. I googled "verizon webmail" and got a different sort of link and I was able to go right in. So, I'm not sure what that was about but it led me to believe my e-mail was down and it wasn't. There was something up with the link I have.

Tech support informed us that the issue is nationwide. Now I wonder why they are not telling the truth?

Well, it could be nationwide but spotty, KWIM?

I mean, I have had access to my e-mail; however, I would say it is not behaving as it normally does. There could be other people without it. As I said earlier, my dad also had a problem but he doesn't have FIOS, he has DSL. So it could be a Verizon software problem versus a specific problem with FIOS.

That's the problem I've been having off and on. As I said above, I went to a different link and the problem didn't occur.

No problem with FIOS here... email, cable, everything's working fine.

I have verizon, and I'm getting emails on my phone, but not into my outlook account.
