Verizon Cell Phones inside the parks...

Okay, so all of you with Verizon Wireless..did your phones work inside the parks??

Yes, mine worked - for the most part. I don't recall having much difficulty.

I don't recall having any problems with it when we were there in May. ALthough I didn't use it much either.

I had no problems in the parks, but for some reason it didn't work well at the resort (we were staying at Coronado Springs). I always had to sit in the window or walk out on the balcony to get a clear signal.

I was able to use my phone perfectly, I had friends that forgot I was out of town and I kept getting calls our first day out at the Animal Kingdom...

We also had no problems, it was a great way to communicate with DH.

A few years ago we tried walkie talkies and they were horrible, we also had our cell phones so we just used them.

Ours worked fine.
One thing we noticed though was sometimes we were in network (or extended network) in one room of our resort (OKW), but moving to another room took us out of network.

okay, great! Thanks for the replys. We are planning on using them for communication incase we all get seperated. We even plan on giving my dd4 one, since she knows how to use them. * we got rid of home phone and just use our cell's. so thats what she has learned to use* But anyway..i am going on ..thanks for the replys.
