Vera Bradley question

How easy is it to return Vera B items? I purchased stuff last week and some I didn't like and some has gone down in price( has not come yet either) but like $7 an item and 3 items... should I rebuy and return? any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Why don't you call and see if they will do a price adjustment. I did this with Talbots and they credited some back to me.

Thank you for answering, I looked on their site and is said they would not do that so that is why I was wondering how difficult it would be to return the items. It did not seem like anyone knew the answer and I just this minute finished placing the order because I was afraid they would sell out and it is the last day of the sale.. I had ordered alot last Sat with the 20% off and the bags were then 35.99 but today they are 29.99 so for 3 that is a good discount so I guess now just hope it goes smoothly... can't use 6 hipsters. I'll let you know how it goes.. I do not even have the order yet, I think it shipped yesterday...

Have you checked the VB site for your local retailers? I did that over the weekend - free shipping with $75 purchase but what I wanted was just under that. So I called the local retailer and asked if they take returns of online purchases. They do but they just take the stuff to mail back to VB so that you don't have to pay return shipping. VB then credits your account back. It could take 2-3 weeks for credit I was told. Worth it to me. I got a few things I was looking at for a while. I'll decide what I want to keep and then take the rest to the retailer for return.

Excellent just what I wanted to know...yes believe it or not I think I have a local retailer near me(and in NH that is something cause we live 1hr from the big city but so have a shop 10 min away that sells gift and Vera B, so I can just take to her and she mails back.. super...thats all I needed to know... for $21 I will deal with that... Oh I am glad I ordered them... I was trilled on Sat to get the hipster for the 36.99 since earlier in the week it was higher and that 20% deal brought it down, I never figured it would go lower...one was still on my wish list when I went to the site today and was shocked to see 29.99.. Santa came today... nice gifts for the 3 girls... Now I feel better that I can easily return the other 3...

i bought the hipster online on sunday too because I thought it was a good deal. Then yesterday it went down even more. I called customer service since my package hadn't even shipped yet. They were more than happy to do a price adjustment for me. Call them and see if they will for you.

thanks so much for answering, I ordered on early Sat morning so when I saw the hipster lower in price yesterday late afternoon it could have even been after they closed, my order had already shipped and when I read there help part on the site it seemed like they would not do that so that is why I asked about returning item... initially I did not get a response so I just order the 3 hipsters again. but in the future I surely will give them a call it would have been much easier but alas I did add some items to the order anyway...they are getting alot of my money this year...

I have never returned for an online purchase, and we don't have an actual VB store anywhere around here, so I am not sure what I would do. I have been contemplating because I bought a backpack that I am not crazy about. I've thought about sending it back or just selling it on eBay instead. Not sure?

I think the person who answered me above said you can also return at a authorized dealer, that is a regular store that sells Vera B along with other stuff. If you go to their site at the bottom of page you will see Return/Cancelation link click on that and it will bring you to a page that has another link that says something about that Authorized dealers and click on that and a map comes up , you put in zip code and up pops a list in area., Believe me I do no have a VB store anywhere near me but their were dealers listed... Oh and I think I bought that backpack too Last year I got a beautiful one and thought this was the same one but this one is smaller and cheaper looking, realized after that I bought the bookbag last year and that was beautiful . So now I have to return them too... Hope this helps

Just a word of caution for those wanting to return to a VB store.

I tried to return an online purchase at my local authorized VB retailer and they would only give me store credit. I think they've had trouble with returns in the past, because they were quite adamant/borderline rude about it. So you may want to call your particular store to see what the policy is.

I've had no issues sending an item back to VB, but I had to pay for shipping.
