I am a Vera addict!! I was introduced to it by disboards but watching youtube videos of reviews and collections have made it a full blown obsession. Is it bad that I buy purses now with the intention of using them months later?

The vera website has the fall catalog with the new patterns and I am pretty smitten with all of them.

July 7th is the release day -- how bad is it I was thinking of taking the morning off from work so I could go to the Hallmark and get my new Vera? My Hallmark only orders one of each item in each pattern, so if you're not there first, too bad. And I am so loyal -- they know me by name, they give me little Vera treats when they have them -- it's hard to shop anywhere else. Anyway, now I have to work that morning, but my afternoon is still open...My favorite so far is Plum Petals, but the only one I really don't care for is Happy Snails. What a name!

QVC is selling them on July 7th. They are having several shows that day starting at midnight eastern. I plan on watching and probably ordering. Mocha Rouge kind of reminds me of Mod Floral Pink. Plumb Petals reminds me a little bit of Purple punch.

It is strange how some patterns grow on me. For the Summer 2011 collection I loved watercolor at first and now I think Deco Daisy is my favorite. I can't wait to buy a bag because it would go with so much stuff in my wardrobe. When the Summer 2011 patterns came out I didn't really care for Deco Daisy.

I can't decide how I feel about the Fall patterns. So far, none of them thrill me. I guess I'll wait to see them IRL.

I really shouldn't be buying any more VB anyway, as I too have purses and wallets and things that I'll use "someday".

So, Lisa, my Hallmark "consultant" tells me she ordered several things in olive green with leather, and it really looks great in person. Like you, I'm waiting for IRL to decide if I agree...

Guess we'll find out soon enough!

I agree that Plum Petals looks a lot like Purple Punch but I loved that pattern. I almost like Plum Petals better!! Needless to say I will definitely be getting something in that (I'm thinking a Mandy...). And I love the Safari Sunset too! Good thing I've got some Vera gift cards to spend.

I am so excited for the new releases! I like the colors. I purchased a Mocha Pink Small Cosmetic bag a few months ago when I happened to be at my local VB store on a preview day! The new bags are cute...the attache case is adorable. I also saw a blankie/throw type item on the video on Inside Stitch! If that is actually going to be released with the fall items I will be purchasing one immediately!! The VB.com site has the new items up and you can through everything. Although the blanket is nowhere to be seen as of yet.

Oh Vera you are so tricky! Always so skilled at taking money from my wallet!

Did they stop making the 17" Rolling Travel Tote? I wasn't fond of the three colors they had and was waiting to see if they would offer anything different. I'm only seeing the 17" Roll Along Tote now. I don't like that one because it's more vertical.

The blanket is going to be a promotional item...I don't know exactly when it starts but it's not right away. Maybe later July or August?

When I saw the pattern Safari Sunset I started thinking about redecorating my room based around that pattern. I don't really love the pattern for a purse but the blanket would be an awesome addition to my room.

I recently ordered a Morgan in Barcelona and loooove it....

I carried a Large Hobo for almost a year and decided to get something smaller. Took a chance on the Morgan and am very happy.

Not really a fan of any of the fall colors at the moment. They might grow on me...

The other day, the website offered the $68.00 tote for 29.99. It came in the four summer colors and Vera succeeded in getting me to buy the Boysenberry.

I couldn't resist, because I love most of the interior patterns more than I like the outside patterns, and the tote has contrasting boysenberry and navy print. Too cute. It'll look really good with my Large duffel when I go on vacation next month. I'm going to see if I can get a friend to add in a zipper for me.

I love VB! I have the hipster, mini-hipster, and the maggie. The maggie I used as an everyday bag but it's a little small. I manage though. I bought the mini-hipster for a 2009 trip and it was stuffed to the gills so I got a regular sized hipster for a 2010 trip. Much roomier!

It is! Right now, none of the fall patterns appeals to me. That's how I justify spending money on the older patterns right now But I just know when I see them in person, I'll change my tune.
