Vera Bradley lovers... help would be appreciated!

I seriously just applauded your purchase!!! (and your free coin purse!) I'm not alone!!!! I really like the pleated tote! I have always had a "thing" for red! I'm sure it looks fabulous! I am forcing myself to stay home b/c I KNOW the vb store is giving out freebies today!!!

Yeah, the online shopping retail therapy thing could easily get out of control! I'm climbing the walls though. I am ready to go back to work. I just have to be careful bc so many of the kiddos I work with are immune compromised and a fever means packing germs! I think I'm on the mend though! Fingers crossed!

You just can't get them to talk about them (other than answering questions) lol. They are very nice and helpful salespeople, however! Whereas, in a real VB store, I'm guessing they might be chattier about the merchandise?

Oh yes, this wretched fever has been here since Sunday night! Ear infection AND bronchitis! Woohoo! I'm insisting they both be gone by this evening!

I got my Quick Draw bag today!!! I LOVE IT!!! SO cute!! I went to VB.com and there are already reviews of the bag and interestingly enough I think three out of the four reviews say the Quick Draw would be a GREAT Disney bag!!! I feel totally justified in buying it!

AND...I had program end for the year on Sunday and one of my kiddos brought me a gift...a VB ID case in Watercolor!!

I stumbled upon a Colorful Day event once when I was in Manhattan for a conference. They were giving out LOTS of free stuff. I came away with four different coin purses and two VB patterned bottles of water. Not Kidding. There were VB associates there just handing stuff out. Four different VB ladies came up to me at once and piled everything into my arms. I was a little taken aback...not every day that you are walking down the street and suddenly find a heap of cute little coin purses in your arms! I don't know if all Colorful Day events are like that...being that it was Manhattan things can get NUTS. I'm sure there will be fun freebies though...

I have an iPhone 3GS and it fits. Maybe it depends on who is sewing them?
It's a tighter squeeze if I put my DH's phone with a speck case in it, but that also makes it in. (My phone doesn't have a case on it)

Not my fault that I get Vera presents that I'm not crazy about). I LOVE! If I wasn't so devote to the hipster for Disney, I'd have a new park bag! I love that it can go cross-body and opens so easy.

I feel like that too when I exchange, however my exchanges are because I changed my mind, so they must really hate me a lot! So did you buy the Quickdraw? I am tempted, but I have other bags that fit that niche right now.

I'm kind of loving the Dockside Canvas right now. It's so soft, and the straps are perfect (on the large tote). And I think they are coming out with 4 new colors soon, too.

I just bought the Quick Draw bag and the luggage tag in Viva La Vera! I wasn't sure if it would be too "loud" for me or not. Once I saw it, I really liked it. It IS bright, but in a cheerful way as opposed to an obnoxious way. Seeing it in person really makes a difference. It's fun and summery and I think it will be a great print to carry this summer. I'm most likely going to use my Quick Draw as a Disney Park bag. Even if it is loud, at Disney it will fit right in!! The luggage tag will make my bag stand out AND look fabulous at the same time!

Tomorrow I get to take my VB hipster on a 'dry run.' I am taking my class on a field trip, so I'll be able to see how my bag holds up to a busy, active day. I mentioned this to a non-Disney, non-VB friend and she looked at me like I was crazy. So, I decided to share with people who would understand!


BTW- Thanks for the suggestions about the mini-hipster for DDs first bag. I think the Easter bunny will bring it. Now I just have to decide which pattern to go with!
