Vera Bradley experts.....what is the name of this pattern??

I bought this at a garage sale today and wanted to buy a little cosmetic case to go with it from ebay. Does anyone know the name of the pattern? From the tag inside it looks like it's an older pattern. Thanks in advance.

If it's a Vera pattern, it must be really old. I don't think I've ever seen a bag that didn't use the signature label inside.

Purple punch was a few years ago and has similar colors, but doesn't look anything like it:

Plus, your close up gives me that if it was a VB, it may have been a summer item, similar to Starry Night this year. That uses a coarser fabric than the signature bags.

I am sorry but it looks to be fake. the tag isn't right either...Vera doesn't have tags that look like that. Vera's website has colors back for YEARS....I have never seen this one before. the zipper pulls look fake too.

Pretty sure it is Vera. It's just not one of the signature fabrics which explains why it isn't on any of the retired lists.. It's a limited edition summer fabric from seven or eight years ago.

I never knew they made special summer items. The fabric is actually the same material as the other vera bags. I think my flash made it look weird or something!

My mom has a bag she bought from Vera Bradley in "Chocolat" and it has the same zipper pulls and tag like this purple bag I have. If it does happen to be fake at least I only paid $3 for it!

I know! They're not that expensive in the first place (when you shop at the Vera outlet at least!) I've seen the fake Vera look a likes at walgreens, but never a counterfeit Vera Bradley bag!!

So after looking through all the responses on here I was looking on ebay. Someone says in their listing that it is from a limited edition spring line? Maybe it is real after all?

I could be wrong...but I have been into Vera for about 5 yrs now...and don't remember those patterns at all.
but maybe as some have said they were Summer special patterns.

but the zipper pulls usually say Vera Bradley...and the tag doesn't look the same as any of my older bags...but...I haven't been buying them for longer than 5 yrs.

and for fakes...ebay has everything fake....

Ditto I've been using vera for years and I've never seen that pattern and the inside, zipper pull and tag just don't' look right. I'm sorry you seem alittle upset with those you asked opinion of but again I think the best thing you can do would be take it to a vera store for authentication. Most major stores will do that including, tiffany's, chanel and lv.

It is definitely NOT Vera Bradley

Her inside fabric and outside fabric are never the same pattern.
The tag looks like its been cut off and resewn.
Vera Bradley zipper pulls have her name on them.
The end of the zipper pull isn't hemmed which means it will fray and look cheap.
The fabric looks very lightweight.
The shape of the bag is very unoriginal and something she has never done.
The pattern isn't a Vera pattern.
One side pocket is about half an inch higher than the other side.

Its not Vera Bradley. Sorry.

This is a legitimate Vera Bradley bag it was released in 2003. It was discussed on several forums after researching it a bit..i could link you but I dont think people care that much... I even managed to find the log of people discussing how it came in blue as well as purple. They also had some items available in the pattern in pink.

It was limited edition for 2003 as a previous poster stated its not a signature pattern so it won't be in the retired list. I remember my mother had one and I always tried to steal it

That was a special edition summer pattern that only came in a few pieces. It was geared towards the younger girls and had a drawstring backpack and some smaller makeup type bags. I do believe it was around 2003 because we were in the process of building our home when I bought those for the girls. The other posters are correct. It came in purple, pink and a turquoise color that also had lime green accents. The inside of the drawstring backpack is the same pattern as the outside, however the inside of the pockets on the front and the inside of all the makeup bags has a coordinated striped pattern. I bought them at Crabtree and Evelyn usually not a hotbed of counterfeit Vera Bradley.

Nope I'm not upset at all about anyone who shared their opinions in this thread. I only paid $3 for it. If I would have spent $60 on it, then yes I would be upset if it ended up being a fake. Next time I'm at the store I'm going to take it in. I wish it wasn't 45 minutes away from me!

If it wasn't for the Starry Night line, I never would have thought it was a VB bag. I *love* the pattern, but it doesn't come in the traditional style bags. I don't need beach bags.

Now I want to see it in those other colors. Not a big pink or purple fan, but it's a rare VB pattern in blue that doesn't tweak me.
