Vera Bradley experts...hipster question.

does anyone know what the main differences are between the old and new styles of the hipster. i've seen the new style in he store, but i like an older pattern. i was thinking of getting it from ebay, but i want to know how different the style will be from the ones i've seen in the store.

The old style has a front zip pocket, and I THINK an open pocket behind it. The new one has a flap pocket. HTH!

yes, the old style does have the open pocket on the front, along with the zip pocket in front of that.

i am not sure, but i think it's possible that the new stle is a bit roomier...

First off... the most noticable (and annoying to me) difference between the two is that the old style hipster actually has the same pattern fabric inside and out - so if you buy matching accessories - they get lost in the pattern - that annoys me. The old style also has a zipper front pocket, and directly behind that is a slip pocket. The new style hipster has the contrasting fabric interior. I don't own one yet - but just this fact alone is a huge A+ from me. Also, the front zipper pocket was replaced with a magnetic flap closure pocket (I've heard issues with the magnet liking ot rip out of the fabric), and the slip pocket was moved to the back of the purse. The new style is also slightly bigger and flatter so it lays nicely against your body - also the strap placement was changed a little to help with this. The measurments for this bag are 11"x10.5".
