Does anyone have one? How do you like it? I keep going back and forth on if I want one or not and decided since I found one I like I may as well get it. My one concern is if it will be big enough, so I'm looking to see if other who have one have found it to be of sufficient size. Thanks!

I have it in Slate Blooms but baby is due in 60 days so I haven't used it yet. My sister and sister-in-law each have one in the older shape (I think they changed the shape in 08 or 09?) and love them.

My daughter is 9 1/2 months old, and I'm still on the quest for the "perfect diaper bag".

Have you seen the Vera Bradley diaper bag in person? I wanted one, until I actually saw it. It was a lot smaller than what I expected.

I ended up with 2 bags. I have a huge bag that holds everything but the kitchen sink (love this bag, but it's been discontinued). I have a smaller Skip Hop Duo Deluxe bag that is good for holding just the needed stuff (4 or 5 diapers, soft pack of wipes, changing pad, change of clothes, a couple of bottles, snacks, thin blanket, and my wallet).

Here is the bag I wish I had, but I simply refuse to buy another bag. :lmao: I keep trying to talk myself into it though. I have a 15% off code (FIFTEENNOW), and I could get it for a decent price. I still might cave in and order it. It's the Skip Hop Studio Tote. http://www.diapers.com/product/productdetail.aspx?productid=22419

I had the "old" diaper bag that looks like this:

and it was plenty big, too big in fact! It ended up becoming my work bag when I went back to work, and I used the eddie bauer backpack diaper bag after that....plus my DH wasn't big on carrying around the big Vera flowery bag, so the backpack worked out better for us. I do still use the changing pad that came with the Vera bag though ;)

I have a Vera Bradley Villager in Cupcakes Green I use as my daily diaper bag. It's great and I'm looking to get another in a newer pattern once there's a good sale again.

The Villager has six inside pockets plus the two on the outside, so it helps keep everything organized. It's big enough to carry what I need for a day running errands, etc. but not too big that it looks like I'm carrying luggage or haul around unneccessary items just because I have extra room. It also slides easily underneath the stroller and I don't have to worry about the stroller tipping by hanging it on the handles.

I have it and have been very happy with it! I haven't had any problem with it not holding enough. I am breastfeeding my baby, so I haven't had to carry more than a small bottle carrier, but that wasn't a problem.

The new vera baby bag is much smaller than the old one. My sis-in-law has the old one and I loved that with my niece and nephew, but one of my friends has the new one and I hate it!!! I can never find anything in it, and you can't fit half as much in it. I personally would choose the get carried away tote from vera bradley.

I have the new version and LOVE it (Med Blue)! It is big enough and has lots of pockets- something the old one didn't have enough of (had one for my first baby- who is now 5). I have used it for over a year now, washed it many times and it is holding up great- thinking about using it as an overnight bag/ carry-on for toys when my now 13 month old grows out of it. If you do buy one I highly recommend ebags.com should be able to get one for $50 or less!

I have this same pattern. LOVE this bag! It didn't seem smaller than other bags. I would sacrfice a liitle space for something I love to carry though :rotfl: Several of my friends also have them and they are also fans.

Also- I see how close you are to your due date. Wishing you a quick and easy labor! Congratulations!

Hi! I live near Fort Wayne, Indiana (where Vera is made), and get to visit the outlet sale every year. That means I've had 5 of the diaper bags. Two of the old style and three of the new style. I can say that I love the new style better! The old was huge and boxy, but it could hold three bottles. The new style is the perfect size (but it only has 2 outside bottle pockets, you can put a couple more inside)! I usually pack 2 one piece outfits, 5-8 diapers, small pkg wipes, 3 pacis, one travel formula cont, 2-3 bottles, 2 toys, and one container of snacks, and two burp rags, plus a small (matching) cosmetic bag with tylenol, butt cream, etc. I NEVER carry a purse plus diaper bag, so I always throw my stuff in too.
This is probly TMI, I'm sorry, I just wanted to let a new mommy know what I have learned after 3 kids!:flower3:

How are you getting it for $50 or less on ebags.com? :confused3 I just checked, and they are $97, and coupons don't apply to Vera Bradley products.

I'm really worried about it not being big enough, especially since I do a lot of day trips and will be traveling a fair amount with her. I've been looking at a Ju Ju Be bag instead. I think I like this one. It's a pretty big bag, but I think it will do the trick.

I used this Vera bag

as my diaper bag with my 2 sons that are less than a year apart. It is larger than the regular diaper bag. It held enough stuff for both boys diapers, bottles, change of clothes. I loved it.

Now that the boys are toddlers I carry this Vera bag

It is smaller since I don't have to carry bottles and a ton of diapers.

I think there is a Vera for everyone's needs!!

I use the Vera Bradley backpack as my diaper bag.

I think I went through like 5 bags in my sons first year, and then have been using this one for the past 2 years (almost). I love it!

I did a lot of babywearing so the backpack worked better for me. If I had a shoulder bag it'd get all tangled with the carrier. (Put on the carrier, put in baby, then put on backpack, lol).

And then as he got older and was walking and learning to hold hands, a shoulder bag would fall and hit him and trip him (only happened once before I ditched the shoulder bag).
