Vera Bradley bags - What do you like about them?

Not like I need any more Veras but which one do you think I should get next? I would really like another bucket tote but am stuck on which color to get...should I go for Cupcakes Pink or Carnaby? I am torn because I love both patterns. Most of my Veras are the spring patterns but I think CP is so cute! I was thinking about the new Imperial Toile but I ended up getting a wristlet in that...

I have a bowler in Cupcakes Pink and I love it! I also love the Carnaby, and what's great about that pattern is that you could use it for spring (because of the pink) and for fall (with all of the oranges). What do you think of the Imperial Toile? I want the Stephanie bag in that pattern.

Oh my! The Hannahs are so cheap right now. How did I not know about this? I think my first Vera will be the Hannah in Purple Punch!

One word of warning, the opening of the bag is tiny, only like 6 inches.

Definitely and a little more, the bag itself isn't as small as the opening. You just couldn't get something as long as a checkbook sized wallet into it through the opening, but the bag is big enough that it would fit inside of it. I hope that makes sense.

Uh oh, this thread is getting me introuble, lol. I ordered 3 Hannah's. One purple punch, one in Cambridge(I think), one in Latte. I also got the microfiber espresso tote for $40. It's normally $100. Not too bad, 4 bags for $100

I've changed my mind! Hannah in Cupcakes Green will be my first bag. Simply because after looking I didn't like how you couldn't see the PuPu pattern well enough with the pleats.

That is a good point about the Carnaby. Ahh I just love that pattern!

The Imperial Toile is really pretty! I love how it has the little bit of pink trim...I think that is what sold me on it, otherwise I think it would be kind of boring. It looks especially good in the bigger bags!

I liked the other one, turq something? I am not impressed with the new website layout though, seems much harder to navigate (and find the sales) than the old one was. I got the cutest catalog from them yesterday, it had paperdolls for DD; they're also coming out with reuseable shopping bags soon, those were cute!

I am really not a fan of any of the spring patterns! SIAT is alright but poppy fields is really ugly.

I started this thread with no VB purse and last night I *finally* bought my very first VB bag! Talk about obsession. On eBay I got a new Pink Elephant Bowler bag for $33 w/ free shipping. OMG! Its so beautiful. I discovered that I only like VB bags that have black and pink in it. It could be all black or all pink or a mix. Maybe on a good day I will own a blue bag. But am very happy and I hope I actually like the bag once I get it.

The Pink Elephant pattern is what hooked me too! I ended up getting a great deal on a PE large tic tac tote last Christmas. Before that, I didn't get the popularity of VB - I thought it looked like Grandma quilting. But the Pink Elephant pattern really grew on me. Then it was the Purple Punch. Now, I'm obsessed with the Symphony in Hue. I just got a Hipster (which I probably won't wear cross-body) and the Turn Lock wallet.

Symphony in Hue is awesome, but my favorite is Blue Rhapsody. I'm going to the Vb store tomorrow to pick up a Euro Wallet and possibly a card case in BR.

I admit, I was just curious about others' thoughts on VB bags, so I came to read. I was originally thinking the bags were ugly. But after reading this thread I went to the website and now I'm in love with a few patterns - Cupcakes Pink and Pinwheel Pink to name a few. I'm obsessed with the idea of owning one but I know that won't be happening anytime soon - they're a bit out of my budget! I'm tempted to take advantage of the sale that's going on right now but I just blew the rest of the week's budget buying stuff such as cat litter and food for the cats (if anyone is following my thread) to take to their new home tomorrow. And no, I did not buy a purse at Walmart.
