I always appreciate when others post these sales. This online sale goes through tomorrow and includes the following patterns:

Call Me Coral
Versailles
Imperial Toile

Any Vera experts want to weigh in on a bag for a 70yo woman? What styles are good?

I've always liked my Betsy bags. I like the fact that it has enough strap, and that it zips closed. Plenty of inside compartments. Outside compartment is big enough for my phone. Not a fussy bag.

I love my call me coral stuff but honestly they are flipping patterns so fast last nov I purchased all my call me coral at full price and now its all 60% off. Oh well I guess I can look for smaller accesories to match my set.

I am a Vera newbie and need some advice. I would like to get a bag for my best friend, she carries a huge purse most of the time, so she would need a large bag. Anyone have any ideas for me?

If you like a longer strap and pockets inside, the Villager. That is what my Mom (62) uses. My MIL (74) tried hers and liked it also.

Thanks to this thread, I just ordered the MORGAN bag in the Coral color for $25. It retails for $64, so it's a great deal. A friend bought this bag for me last Xmas when it was on sale and I love it. It's big enough for a big purse person but it's also cute. I highly recommend it. Thanks again for starting this thread...it's great to get a few Xmas gifts out of the way in October :thumbsup2

Thanks... did some Christmas shopping... purchased gifts for 3 ladies for $108..... yeah!!!!

My mom loves the Yellow Bird pattern and likes a smaller bag. Imperial would be tame if you're looking for that. But I've seen plenty of women of that age carrying all different patterns and styles. I don't like the totes for a handbag they are too large. I'm not a large person and like a smaller bag as well. Especially since my Chiropractor said my purse was making my shoulders and back hurt! He was right, that cured the shoulder pain. It wasn't even that heavy.

I have used the Bowler Bag in the past. It is roomy and has several pockets inside. I really like it for a large purse!

Thanks so much for this, OP! My mom loves VB. I got her a trip kit and cosmetic case for Christmas. Yay!

I got a cosmetic case for xmas last her and I LOVE it :lovestruc I'm not into VB but is the best cosmetic case I've ever had.

I gave my kid's teacher VB pencil cases and they really seemed to like them.

I bought a new hipster as well as 3 other pieces in Versailles for less than $60 including tax and shipping, I had just bought a new Angle tote last week, that style would be great for any age. My mom loved her bucket bag.

I need to stop looking at the VB e-mails I get several times a day.

darn it! I just bought 3 things I didn't need, but love

Thank you for posting about this, i just got my dh to order my Christmas present! sweeeeet!
