DH & I are going to Disney in September and our children will be with my parents in Chicago for the week. It's a few months delayed 10th anniversary trip for us (we honeymooned in WDW) and a couple of dear friends are traveling with us. Of course, my son will only be 18 months and my daughter about 5 months...but ultimately I think it shouldn't matter where the parents vacation, they need a break just for themselves too (we don't get summer vacations or fall/Christmas/spring breaks). To each his own.
