Are any of you familiar with Yahoo Groups for buying and selling things?????
I just need to vent. Three weeks ago, yes THREE weeks ago I made a trade for some custom Christmas Clothes with one lady. I mailed my trade off on the agreed day and waited. I have traded with this lady before so I know she is going to send the things but I wait and wait. So last week after still not receiving the things I email her on Tuesday and tell her that one of the outfits is what my DD will be wearing in family pictures tomorros (Dec 4th) and could she please let me know when they were mailed. She said her husband had mailed them for her Monday (Last Monday before Thanksgiving) and not to worry about it. Well here we are today, the day before the pictures and no box. I email her and she says she knows they were mailed. So I ask for an exact date and a delivery confirmation number. SHe says she will ask her husband. I just emailed her again and she says MAYBE HE DIDN'T MAIL THEM AND JUST SAID HE DID TO MAKE ME HAPPY! Now I am fuming. There is no money involved but she does have my Coach Purse and has had it and I'm sure she will ship the stuff out but then it will be to late. Uggh why do people lie!!!!
Second vent! I ordered (again from a Yahoo Group) some really cute red patent leather Christmas boots. They came in quickly and are gorgeous. So last Monday I get my daughter dressed and start to put the boots on and realize I have two LEFT boots. So I email the lady again directly and am told that she will send out new boots the NEXT day. I tell her great because again I want them for family Christmas pictures. Well here we are today and no boots either. I email her and she says she isn't sure if she has mailed them or not and will check. That was this morning and STILL no word from her or whether or not they are coming.
My vent is simply if someone BUYS something from you and they tell you they need them by a specific date why don't you just do the right thing and send them. I know Thanksgiving is a busy time but both of these ladies KNEW WELL before Thanksgiving that I was wanting them by tomorrow.
Now I don't know whether to just let it go and hope to get them in time for her to wear them sometimes before Christmas or get a refund on the boots and get my purse back. I'm just so mad!!!!! Toddlers grow so fast and every week that she doesn't get to wear these she grows. She won't be able to wear them next year for sure.
