I just need to get this off my chest...hopefully that will help! 
We swtiched to Alltel about a year and a half ago when we moved from MI to SC so we would have better coverage. Well, we have reception but the customer service STINKS! Since May I've been trying to work on billing issues and get things resolved with them and have had NO luck. In June we got a bill for $421 and I spent two months trying to get credit - the actual amount due: $62 and some change!
Same thing in July's bill. August's bill just came in the mail last night and I'm afraid to open it. I cannot tell you the countless hours I've spent on the phone or had to have DH call because my information's "missing" from the account. I was told to fax all of my "supporting documentation" in but no one can give me a fax number there. I've emailed Customer Service and gotten no response from them the first time. The second time, I was told I wasn't on the account despite being on the phone with Customer Service while sending the email initially! It's a huge run around and I cannot wait to get out of this contract with them!! Now the excuse is "well that was with Alltel".....seriously??? Honor the information I've been given!
I cannot wait for this contract to be up! Unfortunetly, no one else has acceptable coverage around here and Verizon knows that! I manage our business account and two reps that I spoke with point blank told me that's why you pay more - better service and coverage! What a joke. Even on the "business" end of things, we were promised quotes within 48 hours and didn't get anything for over a week...
It's all very frustrating and I'm not sure where to go from here other than crazy! (I think I'm already there or darned close!) I'm not going to "give in" and pay the bill (we did that with May's bill with promises everything would be fixed......yeah right!). I just don't know what else to do or where to go from here. I tried to Google Verizon's Corporate office info but found several different addresses/fax numbers. I'd like to fax my "nastygram" to them to be sure they receive it but part of me knows that I'm wasting my time with them.....
