Velvet session at hrh

i was thinking of taking the better half to the velvet session at HRH as a group from our younger days are on, the VIP says $50 is it worth it or is the cheaper ordinary price better, thanks in advance for any help

The VIP area is off to the side of the stage on a raised level. You can get a better view from up there but we much preferred being down on the main floor. We were able to get right up near the stage and it was just like being at a normal gig. A lot of the people int he VIP area last time were just really drunk and screaming at nothing in particular a lot of the time. They seemed more interested in falling all over each other than the music.

Is it Flock of Seagulls you are planning to see? Unfortunately, we fly home that day - would have loved to relive the 80s
