Just found out that 'Velvet Sessions' is taking place the night we are there

WIll that have any effect on the place?

Not really. Just the lobby. Hopefully, someone good will be playing while you're there. We thought it was a good time. We saw Joan Jett and plan on attending again in November, if they're having a session that month.

We were there just last week and the Knack was playing. They did have most of the lobby blocked off and the music was very loud, We were on our way to dinner and it was blasting.They start the concert early like at 6pm and finish it up around nine.

during velvet sessions parking at HRH goes from bad to impossible. People park on the grass by the front. If you have a car don't move it.

You should try and hit the Halloween velvet sessions! The decorate for halloween. OMG, SO much fun. And alot of people dress up in costume. DH is going as captian spaulding and I will be madam firefly this year. ( both from the movie house of 1000 corpses!)
